ASQ Saskatchewan is a section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) serving the province of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Since 1946, ASQ has been a leader in identifying, communicating, and promoting the use of quality concepts, principles, and technologies. ASQ is your source for information on topics ranging from total quality management and statistical process control to benchmarking and leadership. ASQ makes it easy for you to obtain the latest information in a variety of areas – information you and your organization need to stay competitive. And ASQ provides opportunities for you to meet and learn from experts working in your field.
The purpose of ASQ is to advance the theory and practice of Quality and the allied arts and sciences while maintaining a high professional standing of its members. With a network of over 140,000 members in 64 countries, the Society’s initiatives focus on enhancing the quality profession and on quality’s role in the marketplace. Leading people with a commitment to quality into action is ASQ’s mandate, stemming from the belief that the best way to improve quality is by helping people improve themselves.
ASQ Saskatchewan was founded as a Subsection of ASQ in late 1993, and became a full Section on July 1, 1996.
